1a. This globe shaped vase has HR Satin glaze on stoneware, with a Black Copper Oxide stain brushed under it, as well as some red iron oxide slip. Then a bit of red glaze was brushed in streaks also on top of the HR Satin White.

2a. Mixed stains under HR Satin White...Black Copper and Red Iron Oxide stains, then white was sponged on this large stoneware planter. Hand built and glazed by myself and Maureen for the Black Mountain Center for the Arts Clay Studio.
3a. Small stoneware pocket vase, black glaze in stain treatment with red glaze trim on the details of hand built slab pieces, torn and assembled. Interior glazed with HR Satin, and top edge dipped into HR Satin.
